I've been so frustrated; distracted; sad; miffed; anemic and just so out of it that i haven't eaten a single thing since Friday. Cause either I had no appetite or I was just feeling too nauseous that i puked out whatever little i managed to force myself to eat. I don't want this to be what happened the last time I'm just not strong enough and I know I just can't handle it anymore. There was this period of time i became so hard hearten i couldn't shed a tear but now i cry so easily again. I cried so much in church yesterday when God convicted me. He showed me how much of a jerk I've been. I was so woebegone yesterday and I was late because i met Elisha, RuiShan,Grace and Charmaine for another Christmas party meeting and worship had already started. As i started to get into the worship the Lord revealed to me that He was feeling the same way i was. So heavy hearted and sad because just like how a certain someone has been talking to me as and when he pleases is just like how I've been treating God. I go to Him only when I please or when it's convenient for me and then Sabrina said something that really made me break down even more..she said God told her, " I've been the faithful one in this relationship." and that is so true in my life as well. Jesus has been the faithful one and I've been neglecting my FirstLove and been seeking love in guys instead. And to know that Jesus feels the same way about me as i feel about that certain someone really made me feel so pathetic. I started to apologize profusely but I knew that wasn't enough. Just as that certain someone has hurt me I have hurt the Lord and what more because He first loved me and died for me. Jesus showed me how He has been waiting and hoping for me to set aside time to talk and fellowship with Him is just like how i always wait and hope for that certain one to give me some attention. And i just couldn't stop crying and saying sorry. I know i have to change and i know it will be hard to not seek for love in men but in God alone. But I also must remind myself to not stop loving just like last time because I won't be doing myself any favors. I just got to set my sights on the One above and trust that someday a decent guy will come along.

The eyes are indeed the windows to the soul. And yesterday, within the span of 1hr, i cannot underscore the amount of detritus that television promotes or is made up of. I can safely say the rubbish-0-meter in my head has good up by a good 12% and that's a lot considering it was just 1hr of TV. So like what Pastor Cameron said on sat at Bible class.. no matter how silly you look just look away immediately. Cause even a few seconds will cause you to stumble. And I can safey say I have been diligently looking away and i havent stumbled for a few weeks now ;] Hey everyone stumbles right? We just got to make the effort to nip the sin at the bud and go out of your way to make the change.

I have long believed that part of our problem with resolving race issues in America is our inability to accurately name what we are. Aside from the occasional Johnny and Edgar Winter, there are no white people. Any child with a box of crayons can tell you that white people are, in fact, beige. The sickly ones are gray. Is it fallacious that I've already started to think about marriage. I went with Rui Shan to watch a choir performance last Sunday called the "Wild At Heart" and there was a children's choir that was involved in it as well.. As I watched the children perform I started to cry but of course I did it with discretion else people would question my sanity haha anyways.. Well I cried because...suddenly this surge of maternal feelings just inundated my whole being and I was like
" hey.. one day I'm going to be here in amongst the crowd with my husband's arm around my shoulder as we proudly watch our child performing up on stage.". And i just teared so much with joy and expectation. I don't know how to elucidate myself perspicuously without sounding like a total dweeb. But i mean, hey at some point in time these feelings were gonna kick in right? I guess mine was just sooner than later.
And like every time I see husbands and wives being so besotted with each other, i yearn for the day I can experience likewise.. Lately everything in church is about setting ourselves apart and keeping ourselves pure.. Today at Bible study i learnt something that was plumb eye-opening. --> That to attain holiness there is two parts...
1. To be SEPARATED from the world
and most importantly
2. To be JOINED unto God
[i.e through worship; prayer; meditation on the Word]
See being separated from the world is just part of it, we also have to ensure we're feeding our spirit man and to stop exercising our sins in order to put them to death. Just like if you stop working your muscles they will atrophy.
[I was not digressing. I merely stated all of that because once at 'dating or waiting' seminar i heard that we should stop looking for the one and start working on being the one. So that we're ready when God's time for us to settle down with that special someone comes.]
Like last Sunday's sermon was so timely and it really was an apt message.. about the colossal difference between intimacy and sex. Well the sermon was entitled 'A Disciple's Love Life'.

See the difference.. There's this bond that is forged between husband and wife and they ''know'' each other.. Like in Genesis 4:1, where it stated Adam knew Eve and then she conceived.. So it's like the union between the two is a close association and a deep connection in the spirit.Which is the Hebrew meaning of the word knew (YADA). The way we behave around people is the way people will behave around us, and the way we dress and portray ourselves as well. So if we don't respect ourselves the opposite gender will do likewise.

If we don't have a vision we are living without restraint.

but most importantly, His grace will carry us through ;D

As some of you guys know.. i sat for my SAT s today ;D I had to wake up at 5 ish to get ready and head down to ACJC in Dover. Reached at like 7 ish.. There were so many people. Well I was so adrenalized! We sat for it in the school's badminton hall which was like freezing cold..I was like a cricket, rubbing my legs together. The whole thing was putative to be like 3 hours and 45 mins.. BUT it went for like over 5 ish hours! Like 3/4s of the way through the obstreperous hunger and pee pangs started to kick in ;p My stoic Papa and sister waited outside to pick me up cause we couldn't bring any electronic devices at all, but of course there were a few odious rebels. Well thank GOD it went mega well ;] and I feel accomplished in the greatest extreme. All that copious amount of studying and praying really paid off. My wanting to go to the U.S was also a penchant that kept me going when I felt i was about to crack. Come to think of it the proclivity of going to the U.S has actually help spur me on in quite a few things. ;D Well when I came home I fell asleep, incognizant, on the couch right after lunch. And woke up at 9.. which was about a 4 hour nap? haha

i am so sick of studying. i know that there's only two more papers left but it seems like eternity more so now compared to before it started. I'm just too tired and too zonked out to continue. Ever since 2008 i told myself I wouldn't make new friends and most importantly I wouldn't fall for any guy. This goal resulted from my knowledge of an inevitable move I was going to make with the next 3 years. I guess I'm a very sentimental individual and the smallest of relationships mean the world to me. I appreciate people more than I can express and they impact me more than they know. This is probably why the forging of new comrade-ships or the inauguration of affections with certain individuals is something I have tried avoiding these couple of months especially.

Failed miserably no doubt.

New zone, new cell, new year.
It all brought new people. It created new bonds. It just strengthened my tie to this country.

I'm not complaining, I really love my Cell members of 5.3 and they have been an immense blessing. And the other random new people I've met are awesome too. But knowing.. at the back of my mind that I have to say goodbye soon is something I downright don't look forward to. Guy wise, I guess I wished i didn't fall for them as well. I mean it's scary. I've tried not liking guys by distracting my self with material pleasures..I've tried liking the worst kinda guy so he'd be easy to forget..I've tried to like a decent guy.. But ultimately I guess I'm just too much of a coward to really fall for a guy, knowing that I'd have to say goodbye.

Well I guess the point of this post was to say.. I'm a sucker for good company and that I fail copiously at saying goodbye and meaning it. Sometimes I wonder if this treasuring of relationships with people is a pro or a con because it can be tiring and draining at times. hah. We can loose friends as fast as we can find them. As we go on in life..how much more friends will we become friends with? Even the ones we never think we would befriend.. we just might. Remember the good times we all have together because time and reality is moving fast and the reality is that some of us will never see each other again. Probably only time will tell huh, who'll really stay in my life and who'll walk out.

The most beautiful discovery friends can make is that they can grow separately without growing apart.
or maybe carpe diem is something i should learn to take in my stride and live by.

♥ i can go crazy with and we'd laugh our asses off no matter who's looking

hey granny! ;] thanks for being in my dream today. and thanks Jesus for answering my prayer to show me how happy and well she is.

Well my dream started of with Kenneth coming to visit me cause he knew i couldn't go for cell.. so sweet huh hahaa anyways after he left i went to my room and my granny's coffin was in there and she started to rise from the dead. I was so shocked and happy and with that shakey voice i started to call for my Mum saying, " Mummy! Mummy! Granny woke up from the dead come see! Quick! Come now! ". But typically my mum was busy..I think she was hanging the clothes or something so my granny walked out of my room into the hall. Her face was a little rotten and like you know that brown juice from garbage.. well that was all over the floor.

BUT

The most interesting thing was that she started jumping up and down with another person and that other person was my granny as well. But the other one looked well and healthy and she was wearing what she always wore at home a long floral night dress. They were both jumping about and smiling and my mum was like, " Granny, follow the other Granny to the toilet to wash up."

And then i think i woke up. haha so anti climax

Anyways I told my Mummy bout this dream and she was like God's showing you that now Granny's got her incorruptible body and i was like YEAH :D So amazing. I was so teary eyed.I miss her soooooo much but i know she's in a place where she can't feel pain or suffering like she did here.

[and she also asked what else i dreamt about..and i was like oh Kenneth came to visit before he was off to cell cause he knew i couldn't go for cell..and my mum was like, " you ah.. why your dream no link?!"]
